Cadus was the Latin name for the amphorae that contained limited and special batches of wine in Ancient Rome. CADUS was born under that same spirit, and for two decades it stood out as the icon wine of the historic Nieto Senetiner winery in Mendoza.
Today, Cadus Wines reaffirms a trajectory that has spent 20 years plowing its own path, and is an independent winery, which, through limited batches of signature wines, manages to express the unique characteristics of the most virtuous foothills estates.
Santiago Mayorga, the winery's winemaker, was recognized by Wine Enthusiast as one of the "Now Generation" winemakers who are setting the course for the Argentine wine industry. Fresh, adventurous and owner of an experience that combines classicism and irreverence in balanced doses, today he personifies all the sophistication and innovative vocation of CADUS Wines.
