Founded in 1897, Bodega Lagarde was acquired in 1969 by the Pescarmona family, who gave it a seal that would mark its identity as a family winery that produces high-end wines, both in Argentina and in the rest of the world. Today the winery is led by the young Sofía and Licula Pescarmona, the third generation of the family.
Between the '80s and '90s, Lagarde dedicated herself to deepening the style and quality of her wines. Innovation has always been a fundamental pillar, resulting in being the first producers to plant non-traditional vines in Latin America such as Viognier or Moscato Bianco, with the aim of achieving wines with a style typical of the winery. Since then, wines have been made with an artistic and creative touch by our winemaker, Juan Roby, who together with the owners make the production process a true cult of wine.
