Hervé Fabre and his wife, Diane, are owners of the famous Fabre Montmayou winery, in Vistalba, but they also have this annexed project with other partners for a line of limited productions, selections from a single vineyard planted 13 years ago in Gualtallary, plus 1,500 meters high
Gualtallary caught the attention of this Frenchman in love with Argentina and decided to devise a project for high-end wines created exclusively to conquer the world on 200 hectares of this very particular terroir.
Its Alta Yarí Gran Corte wine has achieved the highest score in the IWC (International Wine Challenge) with 96 points, and its white jewel, Torrontés, achieved the title of Revelation White Wine of the Year.
Hervé was also awarded in 2021 as a "Legend of Oenology" and on several occasions nominated as the best red wine oenologist in the world, according to Tim Atkins.
Together with the great teacher, there is Juan Bruzzone as oenologist, who is the ideal complement so that this terroir, these varieties, between barrels and foudres, can also be recognized in his country.
