New sparkling wine from Altos Las Hormigas, made from 100% Bonarda grapes from the winery's own organic vineyard.
It is a delicately sparkling rosé, obtained with the Charmat method, designed for convivial occasions, with a spirit of nature and joy. Ideal for lovers of smooth and easy-to-drink bubbles, it is especially recommended for celebrating 364 unbirthdays and is very suitable for fostering rich conversations and inspiring daring ideas.
It has a soft salmon color - best placed would be river trout color - with hints of gold (and some glimmers of sanity) and fine bubbles. On the nose it is intense and very expressive, excessive, showing citrus and floral aromas, with notes of orange blossom. In the mouth, the notes of apricot stand out; It is a wine with tension and a balanced acidity that provokes only funny, crazy cute comments. It has good volume on the mid-palate and a refreshing finish that makes it very drinkable. Here between us, the hare finishes the bottle alone, crazy with happiness. Hurry up and enjoy your glass served at a temperature between 8º and 10ºC.
Its name, Like a Hare in March, stems from the perception that in the month of March hares have a particularly good time, and that it is worth maintaining that spirit throughout the year... The inspiration stems from the English phrase "Mad as a March hare” as well as the character of the hare in “Alice in Wonderland”, by Lewis Carroll. Carroll's hare drinks tea, but this hare is already of age and drinks some bubbles.
The label is the work of Osvaldo Chiavazza, the artist from Mendoza who drew the hares on our labels and who, inspired by the playful and Dionysian world of "Alice in Wonderland"
