Domaine Nico, by Laura Catena, was born from Laura's passion for Pinot Noir and Bourgogne. There were several years of work in different terroirs, in the Tupungato area.
This wine comes from a two-hectare vineyard planted in 1988, the oldest Pinot Noir vineyard owned by the Catena Zapata group in Mendoza. A firm tannic sensation is felt, very present, along with ripe fruits and an earthy perception that goes through everything. It is a very Burgundy Pinot Noir... ethereal structure, it seems light but then explodes in the mouth... 8,300 bottles.
Laura Catena, fourth generation of winegrowers, is currently General Director of Catena Zapata, where she works closely with Alejandro Vigil and Luis Reginato, selecting the plots and blends of the family's top wines. Laura has also founded the Bodegas Luca Wines, La Posta and Domain Nico.
