Score: 95 James Suckling
A reserved and refined Pinot, with notes of strawberries, lemon peel and wet stones. Very subtle. Robust body, yet elegant and well defined.
Scented and charming, with youthful notes of ripe red cherry, raspberry and plum. Its attractive floral aromas of red roses and violets are intertwined with delicate notes of herbs, lavender, wild arugula and subtle hints of nutmeg and orange zest. Of sharp linearity and bright acidity, powerful siliceous minerality, earthy texture and elegant and finely structured tannins, which will allow the development of greater complexity in the bottle. The potential of this wine is confirmed by the savory earthiness and undergrowth notes that gradually reveal themselves as it opens in the glass. It is a wine that immediately captures the attention and seduces us with its perfume and tension, intelligently combining delicacy and a subtle but structured power. A discreet, multifaceted beauty, waiting to be discovered. Madeleine Stenwreth, Master of Wine.
