Score: 91 James Suckling
"Aromas of melon, baked apple, lemon curd, vanilla and chalk. It is medium to full bodied, with bright acidity and a creamy, loving texture. Balanced and flavorful." James Suckling
Vinos de Potrero is the winery of former soccer player Nicolás Burdisso and his wife Belén Soler Valle. From the beginning Nicolás and Belén surrounded themselves with professionals and chose the oenologist Bernardo Bossi Bonilla who has worked in important wineries such as Catena Zapata, Ernesto Catena Vineyards, Casarena and Mythic.
They produce high-end wines in Gualtallary, recognized by the main international critics. The farm's soils are alluvial and deep, with a sandy-loam texture with many stones, both on the surface and in depth, and a high percentage of calcareous. This wine offers the character of the whites from the area, the herbal and mineral notes in a medium body with great acidity, an almost saline acidity that refreshes everything.
