The greatest expression of Malbec from Gualtallary, combining purity of fruit with floral and mineral notes of the terroir. A wine that, being fresh and easy to drink, is at the same time honest and complex. Difficult vintage but of great qualitative result due to the decrease in production.
"Great value from Bernardo Bossi, a man who knows how to get the best out of Mendoza
variety of terroirs: the Potrero Malbec comes from the ultra-modern Gualtallary. fresh, bright and slightly woody, this is juicy, globular and cheery with soft red berries and top notes of aromatic bush herbs. To drink between 2021-24" Tim Atkin
Vinos de Potrero is the winery of former soccer player Nicolás Burdisso and his wife Belén Soler Valle. From the beginning Nicolás and Belén surrounded themselves with professionals and chose the oenologist Bernardo Bossi Bonilla who has worked in important wineries such as Catena Zapata, Ernesto Catena Vineyards, Casarena and Mythic. They produce high-end wines in Gualtallary, recognized by the main international critics. The farm's soils are alluvial and deep, with a sandy-loam texture with many stones, both on the surface and in depth, and a high percentage of calcareous. The difference with respect to Malbec de Potrero lies eminently in the quality of the wine, to which a few more months of wood are dedicated, but always taking care that the fruit and the terroir remain as protagonists.
