This new white wine has the particularity of being fermented like red wines, that is, with the skins or skins of the grape. This process seeks to extract the tannins that will help in its subsequent maceration for 45 days, achieving an orange-colored and somewhat cloudy wine since it is bottled without filtering. In addition, no sulfites are added and natural yeasts are used, maintaining minimal intervention during its preparation.
It is an intense wine on the palate, with texture and good body. It is accompanied by aromatic floral notes and white and citrus fruits such as orange peel. It closes with a bold and very refreshing acidity.
“Because of its style, it is a true companion of Argentine gastronomy. From sweetbreads to fatty meats such as entrails and, why not, the classic empanadas, are some of the specialties that will be enriched by El Zorrito Naranjo.” Says Nancy Johnson, Brand Ambassador of Bodega Santa Julia.
Natural wines are those that have the least possible human intervention: No sulfites are added (sulfites work as preservatives due to their antioxidant and antibacterial properties). Selected yeasts are not added, rather indigenous yeasts are used. It is not clarified.
In addition, being organic and natural, they have the "Fair For Life" certification that assures the final consumer fair working conditions for all the employees of the winery. By having this seal on its back, the company allocates 4% of the proceeds from bottle sales to a committee of workers who give that amount a social function.
