Caladoc red variety developed in Inra Monpellier, France, arises from the genetic crossing of Malbec and Grenache. Of striking and deep purple color. On the nose, it maintains some of the characteristics of the two vines that make it up, noticeable notes of red and black fruit are perceived, such as strawberries, blackberries and plums, added to floral notes of sage and lavender. Pleasant entry, with sweet and firm tannins, juicy and intense palate that perfectly accompanies baked red meats, pasta, and rice with mushrooms, as well as hard cheeses such as Manchego and Parmesan.
“Textual Innovation Extreme reflects the family's passion for the constant search for Innovation. It is a collection of non-traditional varieties from Argentina but with a great history in its country of origin.” Rubén Ruffo, oenology manager at Bodega Santa Julia.
