Since its inception, Trapiche has ventured into the search for terroirs with extraordinary potential to produce unique wines, based on a philosophy inspired by the richness of diversity. Terroir Series is the result of this search. A series of wines that reflect the best expression of the terroir, chosen each year among all the producers by Sergio Casé, Chief Winemaker of Trapiche.
Between two streams and at an altitude of 1,370 metres, this Chardonnay vineyard has not been irrigated for three years. And it gives wines of great concentration and strength, with the depth of a great white. This version is tremendous in acidity and maturity, the two fighting and giving balance. It is refreshing and deep, rich in layers of saline flavors. In addition, there is a small proportion (just over 1%) of wine aged under the flor veil.
