Gaudeo derives from the Latin Guadere which means rejoice, enjoy, like. “This project emerges as an interpretation of the diversity and nuances of the Uco Valley. The pleasure, joy and happiness that we find in creating these wines surprise with the best expression of each microterroir” Germán Di Césare, winemaker at Bodega Trivento.
These are three Malbec wines from micro terroirs of the Uco Valley. A new line of high-end microterroir wines from Gualtallary, Paraje Altamira and San Pablo.
This Single Vineyard originates from Gualtallary, the northernmost town of the three Single Vineyards, which is located at 1,300 meters above sea level. Its soil is sandy, poor, stony, heterogeneous, calcareous (with abundant carbonate). This vineyard was planted in 2011. Gaudeo Tupungato discovers its essential characteristic, juiciness. They are more austere wines on the nose and fluid on the palate.
