"A delicious expression of herbs and tobacco notes in this example of cabernet franc that we at Descorchados had not tried from Finca Ambrosía. A delicious surprise from their own vineyards on the heights of Gualtallary, to the north of the Uco Valley, property of the winery, and that offers a marked herbal character, although accompanied by a juicy background of ripe red fruits. The acidity makes one forget that this wine has almost 15 degrees of alcohol." Patricio Tapia - Uncorked Guide
This Cabernet Franc was produced with grapes from the extraordinary vineyard located in the Gualtallary District, Tupungato Department, in the heart of the Uco Valley. Where the soil has a high lime content that enhances the mineral character and gives structure to the tannins. It was fermented with native yeasts. In addition to a gentle maceration for 25 days, before pneumatic pressing. Malolactic fermentation in new and used French oak barrels, Burgundy cooperage, where it was then aged for 15 months.
Limited production of 4,116 bottles
