Polígonos is a selection of varietals that are faithfully shown, according to the town they come from. The town gives its name to the vineyards. There is a rich and deep expression of the place, through its geography, climate, social, historical and economic aspects.
The performance of Polígonos Paraje Altamira Malbec 2018 was excellent. It seems to have gained in accuracy and has maintained the freshness of 2016, which was a cooler year. They work with fuller clusters in Altamira, as they believe it gives them spine and helps polish the tannins. It is very pure aromatically, and has a velvety and harmonious texture, although a little more grainy than that of San Pablo. Luis Gutierrez for The Wine Advocate – Robert Parker
